Job summary

The Lane Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and complex accounting areas such as Leases, WIP, Prepaid, and Fixed Assets. You will support audits, coordinate intercompany activity with the parent, and ensure accurate financial reporting for the consolidated group.

This role emphasizes internal controls, documentation, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with month-end close processes and journal entries.
• Strong background in reconciliations and internal controls.
• Familiarity with intercompany accounting and GAAP reporting.
• Ability to support audits and document procedures.

Responsibilities

• Completes month-end closing and weekly processes as assigned.
• Prepares various journal entries during the monthly close.
• Performs monthly reconciliations for existing general ledger accounts.
• Structures a reconciliation for new accounts to support balances.
• Handles complex areas such as Leases, WIP, Prepaid, and Fixed Assets.
• Ensures timely and accurate reporting for the consolidated group and foreign parent.
• Coordinates intercompany accounting with the parent company.
• Reviews financial statements and auditor requests; supports audits.
• Creates desktop procedures for areas of responsibility.
• Drives continuous improvement through process review and refinement.

Responsibilities

• Completes month-end closing processes and weekly processes as assigned.
• Prepares various journal entries during the monthly financial close.
• Performs monthly account reconciliations for existing general ledger accounts and structures a reconciliation for new accounts to support the balance(s).
• Responsible for complex accounting areas, including but not limited to Leases, WIP, Prepaid, Fixed Assets.
• Ensures timely and accurate reporting of financial information for the consolidated group of G3 companies to foreign parent company.
• Coordinates intercompany accounting with parent company.
• Reviews monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and other required supplemental schedules, along with audited financial statements.
• Assists with all audit, both internal and external, requests.
• Creates desktop procedures for areas of responsibility.
• Demonstrates continuous improvement through process review and refinement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
