Lewis Audio Video is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting functions while providing payroll and HR support. This role collaborates with ownership, management, sales, and operations to keep financial records accurate and current.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of accounting experience, proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and general accounting practices.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidential employee and financial information.

Aufgaben

• Bookkeeping & accounting: manage accounts payable/receivable, maintain general ledger, perform bank reconciliations, process vendor payments, assist monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Payroll & commissions: collect and review hours, coordinate semi-monthly payroll, maintain payroll records, assist with payroll-related tax/compliance.
• Sales Tax & Compliance: file sales tax returns and maintain tax compliance, especially for Washington operations.
• Human Resources & Employee Support: maintain confidential files, assist onboarding, benefit enrollment, and time-off tracking.
• Office & Department Support: collaborate with sales/operations to ensure projects/payments/commissions are recorded accurately, assist ownership with forecasting.
