Lewis Audio Video is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting functions, payroll support, and HR-related tasks. The role collaborates with ownership and management to keep financial records precise and current.

The successful candidate will handle bookkeeping, GL integrity, reconciliations, and monthly reporting, while contributing to budgeting and forecasting. A strong eye for detail and secure handling of confidential data are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and general accounting practices.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidential employee and financial information.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with payroll, HR administration, sales tax, or credit card processing is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• CPA or equivalent accounting certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping and accounting functions day-to-day.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
• Perform bank account reconciliations and reconcile accounts.
• Process vendor invoices, checks, and credit card payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Assist with profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash-flow forecasting, and other management reports.
• Collaborate with ownership and management to improve processes and controls.
• Coordinate payroll processing and HR-related documentation.
