Job summary

TAT Technologies is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee payroll, equity compensation administration, and corporate accounting across our U.S. operations. The role supports accurate, timely financial reporting and strong internal controls, reporting to the Charlotte Group Office leadership.

Ideal candidates will have payroll excellence, GAAP expertise, and experience with equity plans, multi-entity accounting, and ERP systems. CPA progression is a plus; DC/NY locations may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience in corporate, manufacturing, or public accounting.
• 3+ years of Payroll Processing experience.
• Knowledge of stock administration and equity compensation programs.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting principles.
• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA designation is a plus.
• Experience with Business Central highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP or accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for hourly, salaried, exempt, and non-exempt employees.
• Administer stock option and RSU programs, maintain equity records, and process grants and vesting events.
• Maintain corporate general ledger, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Support audits, ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, and process improvement.
