A logistics company based in New Jersey is seeking an experienced accountant to maintain the general ledger and perform a variety of accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll assistance, and financial analysis. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of experience, with preferred familiarity in Oracle Netsuite. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Oracle Netsuite experience required.
• CPA preferred.
• Logistics or shipping industry preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all related accounting functions required to maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with bi-weekly payroll, commissions and payroll accruals.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Analyze financial data and generate monthly trend reports.
• Oversee fixed asset tracking and reconciliations.
