We are looking for a Senior Accountant or Controller for our New York City or White Plains, NY offices to oversee day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls for Monticello as a corporate entity and its portfolio of affiliate debt funds across various legal entities. This role partners closely with Monticello’s Accounting leadership, coordinates with fund administrators, external audit and tax firms, and third-party accounting consultants, and is expected to grow into ownership of the firm’s close, audit, tax, and compliance processes.

Monticello offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position in New York City is $110,000 to $160,000/year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
