Job summary

Auto Driveaway is seeking a Senior Accountant for the Lombard, IL area to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. The role requires critical thinking in a fast-paced environment and collaboration across teams to improve processes. Onsite position with responsibilities across treasury, payroll, fixed assets, and subledgers; candidate will drive standard operating procedures and KPI dashboards while supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; CPA is a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and operational accounting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Treasury, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and subledger activities.
• Reconcile operational subledgers to the General Ledger monthly.
• Ensure accuracy of financial reporting and account analyses.
• Manage Comdata/Divvy expense systems and card administration.
• Support internal and external audits and annual 1099 filings.
• Develop SOPs and KPIs; drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives and system enhancements.
