Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and create GL accounts and system formats.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliation.
• Coordinate with external auditors for tax compliance.
• Assist Controller with cash management.
• Review and approve monthly benefit invoices.
• Analyze inventory activity and variances.
• Collaborate to develop annual operating budget.
• Identify and resolve financial issues proactively.
• Prepare financial presentation materials.
• Compile property valuations for insurance renewals.
• Support Purchasing with financial evaluations.
• Respond to information requests from departments.
• Provide guidance to team members.
• Perform backup coverage for accounting functions.
