Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a Staff Accountant for a nonprofit healthcare client in California. You will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain the general ledger, perform reconciliations, and assist with month-end close.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, with 2+ years of accounting experience, proficient in Excel, and knowledgeable in nonprofit and healthcare accounting standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Position Overview

Our client, a non-profit healthcare organization, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization. This position will be responsible for general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, financial reporting support, and ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries.


• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.


• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.


• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.


• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
