Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant in Eleanor, WV to support financial reporting, maintain the general ledger, and ensure GAAP compliance in a manufacturing environment. You will partner with Finance, Operations, and Leadership to drive accurate results, manage month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and cost accounting activities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting processes.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Exposure to inventory or cost accounting is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel; CPA or CPA-track is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes with timely, accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain the general ledger across multiple entities/locations.
• Support cost accounting and inventory-related activities in a product-based environment.
• Assist with financial statements in accordance with GAAP and audits; strengthen controls.
