Job summary

Save the Family Foundation of Arizona is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage payroll, AP/AR, grant invoicing, and financial reporting. The role includes cash receipts, GL accounting, reconciliations, and audit preparation to support nonprofit operations in Maricopa County.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or 6 years related experience with a HS diploma) and strong internal control expertise, with familiarity in Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 3+ years not-for-profit experience or the equivalent 6 years accounting experience.
• Experience with payroll processing and grant management is highly preferred.
• Proficient with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT and advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll and gather the necessary information.
• Prepare invoices.
• Report all necessary 1099s for STF and ARM at year-end.
• Process accounts payable.
• Process accounts receivable.
• Generate internal reports.
• Compile figures for agency grant requests and contracts.
• Assemble work papers for the annual audit.
• Prepare and submit required reports timely and accurately.
• Adhere to STF and ARM policies and procedures.
