Morgan’s is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance team in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. The role focuses on full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and accurate financial reporting for multiple nonprofit entities.

The ideal candidate has a strong GAAP background, nonprofit experience, and excellent attention to detail, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible full-cycle accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and nonprofit accounting.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-accrual accounting activities for assigned entities and departments in accordance with GAAP and organizational accounting policies.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close for multiple nonprofit entities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger activity, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements and reports.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, research discrepancies, and resolve items.
• Assist intercompany accounting and reconciliations across entities.
