Rising Tide Partners in Pittsburgh seeks a Senior Accountant to manage accounting and administrative tasks for RT and its subsidiaries. You will record transactions, reconcile ledgers, assist with payroll, and prepare financial statements with precision.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, nonprofit familiarity, and proficiency in Excel and Sage Intacct. This is a full-time, exempt position offering a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Non-profit accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and accounting-related software.
• Experience with payroll processing.
• Ability to compile and interpret financial reports.
• Strong confidentiality commitment regarding employee and agency information.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and prepare payments.
• Assist with procurement activities and vendor management.
• Prepare invoices and bank deposits as requested.
• Reconcile cash accounts monthly.
• Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing and related journal entries.
• Prepare Balance Sheets and Income Statements.
• Prepare accounts payable, accounts receivable, and subsidiary account reports.
• Assist with annual audit preparation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Scan and sort mail and manage files.
• Respond to public inquiries via email and phone.
