Tessera, a national leader in inclusive employment, is seeking a Senior Accountant in Bremerton, WA. This exempt role supports finance across multi-state setups, tax compliance, payroll costing, and close processes.

You will collaborate with Finance, HR, Operations, and system teams to establish scalable controls and deliver accurate financial information. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field plus 5–8 years of relevant experience, advanced Excel, and ERP

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is required.
• 5–8 years of experience in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Must have advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial close processes.
• Strong knowledge of payroll costing and cross-company accounting impacts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead finance-related setup for operations entering new states, including registrations and taxability assessments.
• Coordinate state and local registrations and ongoing maintenance for tax accounts and payroll withholding.
• Maintain a centralized compliance calendar and setup matrix.
• Research state requirements, document conclusions, and escalate as needed with experts.
• Serve as Finance lead for costing allocations and related accounting impacts.
• Review HR/payroll transactions for accuracy and downstream effects.
• Perform detailed G&A expense analysis and variance reviews.
• Coordinate sales and use tax compliance and account reconciliations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities with journal entries.
