Job summary

Jobot seeks a Senior Accountant in Fayetteville, AR for a permanent on-site role within a wealth management–style setting. You will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage month-end close across multiple entities, support treasury functions, and assist with financial reporting and tax-related processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
• Monitor daily cash activity, account balances, wires, transfers, and funding requests
• Assist with cash forecasting and liquidity planning
• Review payroll activity prior to processing
• Prepare financial reports, supporting schedules, and documentation for leadership and external advisors
• Support annual 1099 preparation and franchise tax filings
• Coordinate with external tax professionals to provide required tax documentation and assist with tax-related requests
• Investigate discrepancies, analyze variances, and resolve accounting issues proactively
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and established procedures
