Terrible's is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead multi-company accounting functions within a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes GL integrity, monthly closes, and robust financial reporting across shared services operations.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of accounting experience, GAAP expertise, and advanced Excel skills. CPA/CMA is preferred, with mentoring responsibilities for junior staff and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting with at least 2 years in a senior role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and control the general ledger and sub-ledgers.
• Prepare financial statements and reports compliant with regulations and policies.
• Perform monthly and year-end close processes and reconciliations.
• Handle daily activities for multiple company accounts with accuracy.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll in a shared services setup.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve reporting.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide management recommendations.
• Assist in budgets and forecasts; participate in audits; stay updated on GAAP.
