Job summary

True Oil LLC in Casper, WY is seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen and scale the accounting function for multiple companies within the True Companies family. The role focuses on producing timely financial statements, maintaining ERP systems, and ensuring accurate month-end and year-end reporting.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 4+ years experience, strong technical accounting skills, and the ability to train others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent with 4+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in accounting principles.
• Ability to train and coach others.
• Ability to read contracts, invoices and financial statements.
• Ability to research and interpret rules and regulations to solve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to sister companies Brick and Bond & True Ranches LLC.
• Prepare and train others on monthly and annual financial statements for multiple companies.
• Maintain ERP and related accounting modules.
• Review and analyze financials and account activity.
• Prepare advanced financial analyses and reports.
• Prepare and/or review journal entries with proper support.
• Prepare company forecasts and budgets for management.
• Perform and/or review account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review general ledger activities at an advanced level.
• Verify controls and processes have been followed.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers to resolve issues.
• Assist and/or review production tax returns.
• Assist with year-end reporting, including 1099s issuance.
