SPEAR Physical Therapy is seeking a Senior Accountant in New York to support the Controller and strengthen the Accounting & Finance team. You will oversee month-end close, GL integrity across multiple clinics, and ASC 842 lease accounting to ensure accurate financial statements.

The role requires detail-oriented, analytical professionals with GAAP knowledge, ERP experience (NetSuite preferred), and strong communication. Opportunity supports growth with a data-driven culture.

Competenze

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in a multi-site, multi-entity environment.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Ability to independently own portions of the monthly close and expense allocations.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.

Mansioni

• Lead month-end close activities and ensure deadlines are met.
• Maintain general ledger across entities and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation, leases per ASC 842.
• Prepare audit schedules and support external audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
