Andelyn Biosciences, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the accounting team with a focus on month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations in Columbus, OH.

You will prepare and review journal entries, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting of financial results. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong general ledger knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 5 years relevant accounting experience with month‑end close and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems; ability to prepare analyses.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities per close calendar.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and reclassifications.
• Review general ledger activity for accuracy and proper period recognition.
• Analyze account fluctuations and explain significant variances with documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve close items and maintain schedules.
