Andelyn Biosciences in Columbus, OH seeks a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to support the accounting team with month‑end close and balance sheet reconciliations. You will prepare and review journal entries, ensure balances are accurate, and investigate discrepancies to deliver timely financial results.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, five years of experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and an ERP system.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5 years of relevant accounting experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Progressive accounting experience with close and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and U.S. GAAP.
• Experience preparing journal entries, schedules, and variance analyses.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting system experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, communicate clearly, and work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close per the calendar.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and prepaids.
• Review general ledger activity for accuracy and timing.
• Analyze account fluctuations and explain variances clearly.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to resolve close items.
• Maintain reconciliation schedules and documentation.
