Job summary

A growing Distribution company located in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the month-end close process and manage the general ledger. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong proficiency in Excel. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in Excel including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Serve as the primary contact for all state Sales and Use Tax issues.
• Assist in reconciling General Ledger accounts.
• Collaborate closely with the AP Department for vendor payments.
• Support preparation of Journal Entries for monthly close procedures.
• Work with the Controller for month-end close processes.
• Provide support during external audits.
