Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations and financial reporting in a global manufacturing environment. The role involves preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules, and assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manufacturing, inventory, operational accounting, or public company experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement concepts.
• Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Perform financial statement analysis and investigate variances and unusual transactions.
• Research and resolve accounting issues in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
• Support inventory, manufacturing, revenue, intercompany, and other operational accounting processes as assigned.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests, including preparation of workpapers and supporting documentation.
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and operational issues.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency.
• Assist with system implementations, reporting enhancements, and accounting transformation initiatives.
• Support special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.
