Job summary

Eggs Unlimited, a leading egg supplier based in Irvine, California, seeks a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. You will lead close processes, manage external audits, and drive cost analyses to support manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online and D365. On-site role with opportunities to improve processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including monthly close and financial statement preparation.
• Experience managing external audits.
• Manufacturing accounting knowledge including inventory valuation and cost accounting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and D365 or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Manage external audit activities with auditors and stakeholders.
• Conduct cost analyses with operations for accurate product costing.
• Perform account reconciliations including bank, AR, and AP.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements with timely variance analyses.
• Identify and implement financial procedures to improve efficiency.
• Maintain internal controls and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support ERP enhancements and reporting improvements.
