Job summary

Godfather’s Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist the Assistant Controller by supervising the General Ledger, overseeing weekly audits of corporate stores, and maintaining daily banking processes in Omaha, NE.

The role requires 2–3 years of accounting experience, a strong grounding in GAAP, and solid financial reporting, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI to turn data into insights for management.

Public accounting experience is welcome and the position is full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Public Accounting experience welcomed.
• 2-3 years of Accounting experience.
• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills with the ability to accumulate, organize and assimilate data from multiple data sources and the ability to turn data into insights.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP desired.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerBI, Outlook and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Controller in overseeing the General Ledger.
• Oversee weekly audit of corporate stores.
• Maintain daily banking processes.
• Prepare and post numerous journal entries for cost allocations and month end accruals.
• Maintain up-to-date Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Review monthly P&L vs. budget.
• Assist with the annual financial audit and related workpapers.
• Provide Information to the Controller as needed.
• Update marketing COOP Financials and Reports.
• Prepare and review weekly ‘flash’ reports to identify and communicate areas of concern to management team.
