Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Five to seven years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong experience with month-end closing procedures.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Demonstrates ownership and looks for better processes.
• Able to explain accounting concepts clearly and help others improve.
• Nice to have: Sage Intacct, Service Titan, lease accounting, revenue recognition, or experience in MEP, construction, or the trades.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and improve the process for accuracy and timeliness.
• Own account reconciliations and establish standardized procedures.
• Prepare and review journal entries and financial reports.
• Analyze variances and investigate root causes.
• Coach and support other accounting team members.
