Job summary

ABGI USA, Inc. is hiring a Senior Accountant in the Houston area. You will own core accounting functions, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and travel & expense management.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA required.
• 5+ years of general accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and close processes.
• Experience with month-end close, GL accounting, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across key accounts.
• Support financial operations including variance analysis and business reviews.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries for consolidation.
• Assist with audits and audit schedules; support SOX controls.
