Job summary

AccruePartners is seeking a Senior Accountant in Charlotte, NC to own core close processes across general ledger, accounts payable, banking, accruals, and reconciliations. This hands-on role will partner with finance leadership to strengthen accuracy and efficiency of the monthly close.

You will help build scalable accounting procedures, work within NetSuite, and support intercompany activity in a growing, PE-backed organization. Opportunity for expanded leadership as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on general ledger and month-end close.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to independently resolve close-related discrepancies.
• Experience reviewing AP, accruals, prepaid expenses, bank reconciliations, and related accounts.
• Experience with intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and debt accounting is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Own the close process across GL, AP, banking, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Identify issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely month-end close.
• Develop and document scalable accounting procedures and SOPs.
• Assist with intercompany activity and multi-entity consolidation tasks.
• Support leadership with process improvements and ERP usage (NetSuite).
