Job summary

Maddox PRO, a leading provider of shared services for Maddox Industrial Transformer, seeks a Senior Accountant to own multi-entity financial reviews under GAAP. Join a collaborative accounting team and help elevate our financial processes as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA strongly preferred.
• 6-8+ years of total accounting experience, with at least 2+ years at the Senior level.
• Strong collaborative mindset with excellent communication and a desire to support team members.
• Proven track record of end-to-end ownership of financial processes and driving workflow improvements.
• High attention to detail, proactive time management, and sharp analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Google or Microsoft Office suites, and cloud accounting software (Xero).

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of monthly close and financial reporting for multiple entities, including reviewing journal entries and GL reconciliations.
• Mentor team members, fostering best practices, accurate reporting, and ongoing professional growth.
• Oversee GAAP compliance, corporate accounting policies, and internal control documentation and implementation.
• Ensure timely filing of state and federal licensing and reporting requirements.
• Lead documentation and analysis for audits and tax requests (PBC).
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting workflows and SOPs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to review monthly GL activity and streamline reporting.
