Job summary

Divisions Maintenance Group is seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our Accounting team in Cincinnati, OH. This role supports month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and internal controls across the organization.

You’ll work with staff and management on audits, policy development, tax reporting, and cross-functional initiatives to drive efficiency. Strong GAAP knowledge, Excel proficiency, and NetSuite experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review accounting entries, accruals and deferrals.
• Assist in audit preparations and policy development.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and federal requirements.
• Prepare federal, state and local tax reporting.
• Manage 1099 processes and intercompany reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
