Growing Kinston, NC based company is seeking a motivated, forward-thinking Senior Accountant to join their team.

$26.00/hour minimum

Responsibilities

• Monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations for multiple accounts, preparing journal entries, supporting monthly/quarterly/year-end closing and the preparation of the financial statements as well as preparing internal financial reports and analysis.
• General Ledger Expertise: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records through meticulous transaction recording.
• Financial Reporting Proficiency: Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial reports, including accruals, Ad Hoc reporting as needed and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Four years of proven experience in accounts payable, general ledger, and accrual accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software, including but not limited to, ADP, Net Suite and advanced level Excel.
