Job summary

ZincFive in Tualatin, Oregon is seeking a Senior Accountant to join headquarters. This role manages general ledger, close cycles, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a growing public-company environment with SOX compliance and IPO readiness.

Hybrid work schedule with 2–3 days in the office; reports to VP & Global Corporate Controller. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years of experience; ERP proficiency (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience supporting SOX compliance, external audits, and public company or IPO readiness initiatives.
• Experience developing, implementing, and improving internal controls and accounting processes within a manufacturing environment.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Analyze monthly balance sheet and income statement activity and identify unusual trends.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and related management reporting.
• Assist with audits and quarterly reviews with supporting documentation.
