ZincFive, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team in a hybrid role based in Oregon. You will support day-to-day accounting, a solid close process and financial reporting while building a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

You will work with the accounting team and other departments to research issues, maintain accurate records, support audits and drive process improvements. This position reports to the VP & Global Corporate Controller.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting
• Experience with audits and audit documentation
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills

Responsabilités

• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations
• Manage balance sheet accounts, prepaid expenses and fixed assets
• Prepare balance sheet and income statement analyses and variance investigations
• Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries and ensure GAAP compliance
• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting and schedules
• Support annual audits and quarterly reviews with documentation for auditors
• Contribute to internal controls, policies and cross‑functional research of discrepancies
• Identify process improvements to improve efficiency and strengthen controls
