Job summary

Colorado College is seeking a Senior Accountant, Investments & Endowment Administration to advance the college’s investment portfolio and endowment accounting. You will perform accounting, reconciliation, and reporting for investments, endowments, trusts, and related activities, with a focus on accuracy and internal controls.

The role supports donor-restricted funds and works with Advancement, Finance leadership, auditors, and stakeholders to ensure compliant financial reporting and audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5 years of experience in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and account for the College's investment portfolio, endowment funds, trusts, life income funds, and related investment activities.
• Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, spending distributions, investment reporting, and analyses.
• Maintain accurate accounting records for donor-restricted funds and provide financial information to Advancement, Finance leadership, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare reconciliations, roll forwards, workpapers, and supporting schedules for audits, tax reporting, debt compliance, regulatory filings, and financial statements.
