CV Resources, Inc. in Beverly Hills is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its expanding finance team.

Reporting to the Controller, you will oversee general ledger activities, inventory accounting, and the month-end close while identifying process improvements to support the company’s growth. The ideal candidate has a solid background in manufacturing or product-based industries, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with NetSuite and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in general accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, and gross margin analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including PivotTables and lookup functions.
• Experience with NetSuite is required.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment.
• Manufacturing, consumer products, retail, or inventory-focused industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly accruals.
• Support inventory accounting and related reconciliations, researching discrepancies and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Analyze product costs, cost of goods sold, and gross margins to support financial reporting and business decisions.
• Assist with monthly and year-end close, financial statements, and management reporting.
• Review financial results, investigate variances, and communicate findings to finance leadership.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice review, payment coordination, customer billing, and collections.
• Reconcile cash and credit card transactions and assist with other routine accounting activities.
• Assist with expense accruals, promotional costs, and other operational accounting needs.
• Coordinate audit support and assist with tax compliance in collaboration with external advisors.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, documentation, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to maintain accurate records and support day-to-day business needs.
