Verkada Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen financial accounting quality in a high-growth environment. You will report to the Sr.

Director of Accounting and oversee close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and inventory tracking across multiple locations. The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, a solid US GAAP background, and strong analytical skills. Onsite five days a week and collaboration with Operations and Supply Chain are essential components of this

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with inventory/cost accounting preferred.
• Solid foundation in US GAAP for hardware/software tech companies.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; NetSuite experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform monthly close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure US GAAP compliance and policy adherence across accounting areas.
• Lead inventory accounting initiatives, including COGS and landed costs.
• Coordinate physical inventory counts with Operations and Supply Chain.
• Prepare periodic and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.
• Support SOX controls and internal/external audits.
• Contribute to process improvements for month-end close efficiency.
