Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Accountant to join Corporate Internal Reporting to support monthly financial consolidation and audit coordination.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting, 3+ years in public accounting or internal corporate reporting, and strong Excel, communication, and analytical skills; CPA preferred. Foreign currency experience and Oracle are a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and reconcile intercompany accounts, including receivable & payable loan transactions.
  • Record and review intercompany journal entries to ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
  • Monitor intercompany activity to ensure transactions are properly settled timely.
  • Prepare reconciliations for late adjusting entries and communicate impacts to the divisional finance teams.
  • Complete various Balance Sheet roll forwards schedules via BPC system/OneStream to be used by management in monthly/quarterly financial statement review.
  • Assist with monthly consolidation by running queries and analyzing financial data.
  • Prepare journal entries for various general ledger intercompany accounts requiring monthly/quarterly Income Statement and Balance Sheet eliminations.
  • Research account reconciliation variances in accordance with company accounting policies by coordinating with divisions to confirm information and/or to correct with an adjusting entry.
  • Prepare reconciliations for the late adjusting entries companies which are used to provide the divisional finance contacts information regarding late adjusting entries.
  • Prepare internal and external audit requests.
  • Special projects as requested by management.
