Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team in Houston, TX. You will support internal financial reporting, cost tracking, and capital project accounting, serving as a trusted partner to operational leaders.

Key responsibilities include leading monthly reviews, budgeting, CIP tracking, asset accounting, and intercompany recharges. Strong Excel and Oracle skills, with CPA eligibility a plus, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or CPA eligibility a plus.
• 5+ years’ accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Oracle experience a plus.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Strong business partnering and relationship management skills.
• Multi-task oriented and highly organized.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly operational finance reviews with business leaders as the primary finance partner.
• Assist with yearly budget preparation including cost allocations.
• Track and support capital projects, service contracts, software licenses, and consultants.
• Manage CIP accounting from setup to accruals and reclassifications.
• Lead the Purchase Order process with Procurement and operations.
• Prepare and review month-end journal entries for capital assets and intangibles.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and accruals.
• Review monthly fixed asset subledger and depreciation reconciliations.
• Manage computing inventory and quarterly allocations.
• Provide dotted-line supervision to Staff Accountant.
