Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage in Lake Forest, California is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial statement consolidation and prepare internal reports. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in accounting or finance and has at least 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in public accounting. Strong skills in accounting software and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in public accounting and/or private company accounting experience.
• CPA or in process of licensure preferred, not required.
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial statement consolidation and quarterly reporting.
• Maintain the general ledger and produce journal entries.
• Assist with SEC filings and external audits.
