Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Must demonstrate attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication with teammates and higher-level management to present results/recommendations.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual book close cycles, ensuring timely completion and escalation of issues.
• Perform accounting activities of increasing complexity with accuracy and efficiency.
• Create complex financial statement schedules, audit support schedules, and other reports in a timely manner.
• Review colleagues' schedules as needed and ensure internal control procedures are followed.
• Research and apply accounting policy to business issues as they arise.
• Understand data flow through financial systems and address issues in the accounting function.
• Identify efficiency improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead or participate in complex department projects and cross-team initiatives.
• Support treasury projects as needed and mentor teammates through training.
