Job summary

Secant Group, part of the Solesis family, seeks a Senior Accountant to bolster the Controller and manage financial reporting, consolidations, and internal controls across multiple ERP systems. This role emphasizes accuracy, analytics, and scalable processes in a multinational context.

You will consolidate data from several entities, support audits, and drive improvements in automation and workflows while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 5 years related experience, preferably in the medical device, pharma, or manufacturing industry.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems; Deacom, Syspro, IQMS a plus.
• Experience with consolidations and/or BI software is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel), proactive with AI resources.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Versatile, flexible, and able to handle changing priorities.
• Ability to analyze and consolidate financial data across units.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial consolidations as part of the month-end close.
• Prepare financial reporting presentations for the Board.
• Prepare quarterly lender reporting packages.
• Develop and maintain a 13-week cash forecast for multiple entities.
• Provide accounting support and backup coverage for operating companies.
• Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and approve cash disbursements.
• Develop calendars, policies, and standardized processes.
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, banks, auditors, investors, and regulators.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation and AI.
