Job summary

Tier One is a growing security and risk-management company seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting and provide financial insights to leadership. The role involves month-end close, financial reporting, AR/AP, payroll, job costing, and internal controls, with direct exposure to executives.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of progressive accounting experience and proficiency in NetSuite and QuickBooks, plus strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• NetSuite and QuickBooks experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and adjusting entries.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial statements.
• Analyze variances and present financial results to leadership.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and project costing.
