Kemper CPA Group LLP in Vincennes, IN is seeking a Senior Accountant to perform advanced accounting, tax, and auditing assignments in a non-management role. This individual will support staff development and interact with clients as needed.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3–5 years of public accounting experience; CPA designation is preferred. Some overtime may be required during peak seasons as client workloads fluctuate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 3–5 years of public accounting experience in both audit and tax.
• CPA designation is preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly controllership functions (AP/AR/payroll/bank recs).
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow analyses.
• Complete moderately complex tax returns for various entities.
• Lead on audit engagements and review staff work.
• Research issues and respond to client questions clearly.
• Manage multiple client requests efficiently.
