Leeds Professional Resources is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for a growing healthcare services company in Florida. You will work closely with the Controller, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support month-end closes and financial reporting.

This role requires 4–7 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel and NetSuite experience, and CPA or CPA candidacy a plus.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis).
• ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to meet deadlines.
• CPA or CPA candidacy preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, depreciation.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close, financial statements, and management reporting.
• Review AP/AR activity, resolve discrepancies, and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Improve procedures, documentation, automation, and internal controls.
• Participate in ERP and finance process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare audit schedules and support tax, banking, and other reporting.
• Assist Controller with financial analyses and special projects.
