Job summary

Addison Group in Bellevue, WA, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the finance team. You will own key accounting processes, support monthly closes, and collaborate across departments to enable growth.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting support, and accurate financial reporting for leadership and stakeholders. CPA or progress toward it is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and financial statement prep.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis).
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Analyze variances vs budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation.
• Collaborate with department leaders on expenses and budgets.
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliation and control maintenance.
• Support audits, tax prep, and regulatory reporting.
• Identify process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with FP&A, operations, and project teams for accurate data.
