Job summary

ebs recruiters LLC seeks a Senior Accountant in Missouri to support financial reporting, month-end close, consolidations, and acquisition accounting in a multi-entity environment.

The role targets a CPA with 3-5+ years in public accounting, strong GAAP, advanced Excel, and ERP experience (NetSuite preferred). You will collaborate across departments to improve financial visibility and control, and partner with auditors on audits and tax matters.

Qualifications

• CPA is required and public accounting background preferred.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting.
• Strong GAAP and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Exposure to multi-entity consolidations or acquisition accounting.
• ERP experience; NetSuite is a plus.
• Advanced Excel for financial analysis and large data sets.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own key aspects of the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and support monthly financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reporting.
• Assist with financial consolidations across multiple entities.
• Support acquisition accounting and integration activities for newly acquired entities.
• Partner with external auditors and advisors on audit and tax-related matters.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Support system enhancements, automation initiatives, and special projects.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve financial visibility and business performance.
