Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; five years of relevant experience required.
• Master's degree preferred; CPA required for Accounting Manager level.
• GAAP knowledge and understanding of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly close for sponsored programs and faculty fund subledgers.
• Reconcile sponsored programs and faculty fund activity with the General Ledger.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules for external reporting and audits.
• Support development of F&A and Fringe Benefit Rate Proposals and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in year-end close and internal control improvements.
