Tampa Hispanic Heritage, Inc. is seeking a skilled accountant for its City centralized accounting division. The role involves handling financial records, payroll, budget amendments, and ledger maintenance in a demanding professional environment.

Qualified candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting and have at least three years of professional accounting experience. A CPA/CGFO/CPPT or equivalent is preferred, with a valid Florida driver's license possibly required.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years professional accounting experience required.
• Equivalents combining education, training and experience may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Codes, checks, and processes purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and other forms; checks ledger for funds available; recommends movement of funds to cover shortages based upon review of usage.
• Prepares budget amendments and general ledger file maintenance; submits requisitions and retrieves account balances.
• Reviews payroll records, balances payrolls, and verifies accuracy of pay calculations.
• Coordinates and participates in physical counts of fixed assets and inventories; balances entries in general ledger.
• Performs related work as required.
