IGEL Technology is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage US entity accounting under US GAAP and German GAAP for group purposes. The role requires close collaboration with the Germany accounting team and internal stakeholders across Finance.

You will own month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements and supporting internal controls. This is a full-time, on-site position with travel as needed.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum five years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Three years of related experience with a Master’s degree.
• Experience with US GAAP and statutory compliance would be a plus.
• Strong analytical and auditing skills.

Mansioni

• Manage obligations to suppliers, employees, and vendors.
• Maintain a Dynamics 365 accounting system.
• Review externally prepared accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations; month-end close ownership.
• Assist with ASC 606 and ASC 842 accounting and audits.
• Support payroll accounting and coordination with HR.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and tax filings.
• Contribute to financial forecasting and variance analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Procurement, and Finance.
