Abbott is a global healthcare leader with operations spanning diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals, and medicines. We are hiring a Sr. Accountant – CFS RTR Core Diagnostics at AP-52, Abbott Park, IL, to act as liaison between third-party shared services, FP&A, and CFS RTR.

The role focuses on Sales & Cost tie-outs for US commercial, journal entries, and reconciliations, plus process improvements and SOX compliance support in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive financial experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Audit experience preferred.
• Strong PC/system skills; Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform Sales & Cost tie-outs for US commercial across TM1, SAP, and Global BI.
• Review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by third-party shared service.
• Support USO Admin Fees, royalty payments, OEM processes, and Core Dx supply chain activities.
• Provide training and guidance for third-party shared services activities.
• Assist in developing and maintaining SOPs and internal controls to support SOX and audits.
