Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Sr. Accountant – CFS RTR Core Diagnostics at AP-52 (Abbott Park, IL) to serve as liaison between third‑party SSC, FP&A, and CFS RTR. The role includes sales & cost tie‑outs for US commercial, journal entry reviews, and process improvements.

You will also support USO admin fees, royalties, OEM, and Core Dx supply chain activities. The position requires 3–5 years of finance experience, a bachelor's in accounting/finance, and strong communication skills to coordinate with

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive financial experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with domestic and international interaction.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Cost tie-outs for US commercial using TM1, SAP and Global BI.
• Support admin fee projections, royalty payments, OEM and inventory analyses.
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations by third‑party shared service.
• Maintain SOPs with third‑party shared services & HUB.
• Provide OJT and guidance for new shared services activities.
• Prepare analyses for journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations backups.
• Efficiently analyze large datasets in Excel (Pivot Tables, lookups, formatting).
• Collaborate with FP&A, CFS, and Americas Hub to close the books and improve processes.
• Ensure SOX/internal controls compliance and audit support.
